Shelved Memories

My fingers hurt

for they have been crossed for long....

My emotions are no longer jaywalking the shore
as its tumultous when the slightest thought of you
crosses my neural nodes

Fireflies ensconce me
when my phone exudes the number of Jack Sparrow
A feeling so ephemeral, yet so permanent....

Oh Dear!!
wish, the past would be re-written...
to accomodate my present enduring needs....
